Great little place. Good food, good prices.

Really busy at breakfast, but worth it. Had Alto omelette with toast and was awesome.

Always friendly service with a smile. I’ve never seen a waiting line. They try really hard to please everyone

A good cafe with decent food, great prices and a nice vibe. I took my daughters here last week and we really enjoyed our breakfast together. One major mindblowing issue though.... aunt jemima syrup? Really guys? You go through the trouble of making a good flapjack style pancake and you cheapen it and your restaurant with tacky corn syrup juice...really? Even if I don't want pancakes I still have to look at this offensive caricature with a grease stained label on the table too😒. I'm going to come back soon, if you have some decent syrup I'm changing my review to the 5 stars this place deserves. And I'll definitely become a regular patron.

I have been here more than a few times and every time the food is consistent. The chicken fried steak is always very big and tasty. The biscuits and gravy are very delicious as well. It's a small place but I love it and I think the omelettes are the best in town.

This was a great surprise on our off season outing to Ruidoso. Yum! The biscuit, egg, bacon and gravy was over the top. Great comfort food, served quick and hot. Loved how friendly the staff and basically everyone was. Loved it! We had to go back while we were still in town, It was worth a second visit.

Great service wonderful food and lots of variety on menu. Friday catfish buffet was excellent. Wonderful breakfast incuding omelettes. Waiter was courteous and responsive to our needs. ADA compliant bathrooms. Handicap parking in front.

Came here to just use the restroom and boy did it smell gooood!! We all agreed we should stop and eat. We werent so hungry but are we glad we did. The food is delicious!! They have buffet of catfish and i must say its good. I ordered the fried chicken burger and with some green chili's that was goood. Another ordered the burger and he said it was one of the best burgers he had. Highly recommend you stop by and check it out.. Almost forgort the dessert was yummy some kind of pineapple cake

The waitress was very friendly and recommend the chicken fried steak. It was very good. My wife had a chicken sandwich that she stated was fantastic. She paired it with onion rings.

If you like burgers, you're in for a treat. Haven't had a burger like this in a long time. Homemade 👌

I have had the absolute pleasure of enjoying the Alto Cafe since its opened. The wide variety of food, their buffets, their Friday and Saturday night specials, etc. The longevity of their team speaks for itself. Combine that with their menu and good old down home cooking is truly special.

Very tasty restraunt. Friendly and accomadating staff. I ordered 2 eggs, hashbrowns, toast, bacon with a side of green chilies. It was delicious and very fulling. For dessert i ordered a cherry cobbler with ice cream and boy was that delicious. Bathrooms are clean. Military discount offered.

Rustic restaurant in a bucolic setting on the way to the airport. Good menu selections. Very laid back atmosphere with no one in any particular hurry. The sliced beef brisket dinner I had didn't cone with enough BBQ sauce and was very dry and chewy. Maybe that's what New Mexicans consider as good brisket. The beans side was overpowered with smoke flavor but I couldn't identify the type of wood used. Prices were in line. Not my first choice for lunch or dinner.

Home cooking! This is a great diner and a big favorite for locals and seasonal visitors. Consistently good, and they have recently expanded the serving capacity. Recommended! I had an awesome chicken fried chicken sandwich with onion rings, today. Holy **** was it tasty!

All I can say is it was fabulous. Variety of menu items. Prices are fair. Service was excellent and food was delicious. Had to ask about the light switch in the facilities. After I turned 2 on and off several times. Seems it was higher than normal. We had a great time.

Great little breakfast place!

Good home cooking. This place is a great place to stop before hitting the mountain, or a great place to catch up with friends and family. They have a lunch buffet weekdays, and dinner buffet Friday and Saturdays. Smaller place so it may be packed, but they love a crowd. From BBQ to catfish, plus all the comfort foods. Prices are not bad either.

Little county cafe that all the local law enforcement eats at (ya know it's good then!)Went by again and as always place was packed, however we were seated quickly, served professionally and had a great breakfast.Meant to send a picture of the Huevos Rancheros prior to digging in but was to excited.

The ribs... awesome! (Even for Texans) Club sandwich - super goodMy wife loved the huevos rancheros breakfast plate with the green. The cherry cobbler and blackberry cobbler were both amazing! They said everything is made from scratch and I totally believe it! To top it off there was no wait (when 5 other places had over an hour wait) and prices very reasonable for a quality dinner this good! Our family is coming back here next time we visit!.

This is an excellent place to eat. We have only eaten breakfast there but have done so the past couple of mornings. The folks that work there are friendly and the food is great. Best breakfast burrito I have ever had.

Delicious! Huge portions, excellent prices...not the friendliest staff, but maybe we caught them on a bad day. We'd definitely go back and try again. Food was well worth it!

Great breakfast! I had a tasty omelet, and came back later and had a delicious breakfast burrito. Seems like a place that's a mix of regulars and tourists. The service was polite and friendly. I'll be back there next time I'm in town, as I think this is my favorite place for breakfast here.

Never had a problem with their food or service! Everyone is always so happy and helpful and the food is always AMAZING. Definitely my favorite place to go for any meal. Especially breakfast.

Great food with amazing service and good prices

A Fellow Jeeper in the North Texas Jeep Club on Facebook referred this place. We decided to give it a try. I got the Burritto with Sauage & bacon with Green chilli on top. My wife got the Bunito Biscuit, Huge biscuit with Sausage egg and cheese. Will recommend both. Hers was a little better than mine! Biscuit was super fluffy. Also got a Copy of the Cowboy Bible for Free. Good food , Followed by a little Scripture before our Journey back to Springtown tx.

Customer service was great. Pancakes are huge and fluffy but my eggs and bacon portion size was rather small for the price.

A favorite for locals and tourists alike. Fast, friendly and family oriented. If you're in the mood for some good down home style cooking, I highly suggest this Lil cafe.

Cute little place! Great decor, homestyle cooking, friendly servers, fast food! I just would love to see a bigger menu, maybe a veggie burger on the lunch menu. Its perfect for a quick in and out, flavorful breakfast.
